A big success SEP sesam and the SEP sesam-SUSE appliance

This year's CeBIT was very successful: SEP AG and Novell GmbH exhibited together on the 646 ft² venue and presented the products and services around SEP sesam with the latest funtions for safe backups and recovery of virtualized or physical servers as well as the SEP sesam-SUSE appliance. This solution minimizes the installation- and configuration-effort of a backup server by up to 70% and supplies the user with an optimized SLES operating system.

There was a noticeable increase in visits from our customers and partners, nationally and internationally alike. Keeping the old Bavarian custom, draft beer was served at the end of the day. In this relaxed atmosphere the pros and cons of the different backup and disaster recovery solutions were then discussed further.

Not far from hall 2 our technology partners like Univention, Falconstor and more exhibited as well. Because of this combined competence of SEP, Novell and the other technology partners virtually all of the visitor's questions could be answered.

We were surprised so many visitors showed up despite the "economic crisis" .
